  2. Lord, please heal Coleman. Please let his body respond to the dialysis. Heal his liver, and the infection, and cure the leukemia. Lord, give him strength for the fight. Lord, I ask that you strengthen Eric and Belinda, carry them when the burden is too great. Grant this miracle, let it be Your will. Bless the doctors with wisdom and inspire them to the best treatment they have ever given. Let them see You at work. I ask this is Your Son's name...

  3. Father God, our words fail us in this moment. We are so in need of You. For You alone are God. With all our hearts, we desire Coleman to be healed. Surround Coleman, Belinda, Eric and all of the family with your presence in such a way that there is not a shadow of a doubt that you are with them.

  4. Father, Healer, Deliverer,

Make Coleman's liver receptive to this treatment. Hold his body together as it tries to fight through all the toxins. Give him strength. Give him peace. Make him feel your presence.

Comfort Belinda and Eric. Keep their minds clear and decisive. Help them understand what the doctors are telling them so that they can make the best possible decisions. Guide them and lead them and give them rest. Even when their bodies are tired, Lord, make their minds and hearts active. Reveal to them your power and love.

    In your Son's name,
    Amen

  13. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.
    Psalm 46:1-3
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
    John 14:27
What wonderful promises from our ever loving God. May you know that peace that passes human understanding as you stand with Coleman against this present enemy. Know that we all are standing with you and will continue to do so as God's will is revealed. I am so thankful you are there to hold Coleman's hand, to speak your love to him and to let him know how many are here lifting him up in prayer. Take care of yourselves - let the Great Physican care for you all. We love you. Carolyn

  15. Lord you are never late, let us trust in your timing. Our faith sometimes only has human eyes and minds to see and reason with. May your spirit give us eyes to see you at work. Tim prayed yesterday from Scripture. Seven times the servant was sent to see if the cloud was forming in the horizon in answer to Elijah's prayer. Lord, give us strength of faith to keep asking and to keep looking!

  27. I am amazed! Throughout this unspeakable tradgedy we are shocked, saddened, and even angry, but the truely amazing aspect has been the glorification of the Lord and the outpouring of love and compassion. "When all that is good falls apart, what can good people do?: Psaml 11:3 We can only reach towards heaven for hope and healing. We can only turn to our great and loving Lord for understanding and strengh. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped." Psalm 28:7 Nothing is to hard for God. I am amazed, our gracious heavenly Father has been with you throughout this journey. He is still with you now. "He will never leave you nor forsake you." Belinda and Eric you have amazed us all. Your concern for others, your strength, your faith, your trust in the Lord and His Word is amazing. You are running the race well. "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses...let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1 Be strong in His grace, it is sufficient. "...the Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon them in their sorrow. Isaiah 49:13. The Lord knows that our hearts ache with you. May He hold you close to Him and comfort you tenderly. May He wrap His loving arms around you Coleman, and let His amazing grace be your testimony. May you return triumphantly to your family and friends. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God." Phillipeans 4:6. Dear gracious Lord, hear our prayers-hear our prayers for a miracle. Our love is with you, the Shelton Family.

  28. Heavenly Father,

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Lord, we seek you grace and mercy. We lift Coleman into Your healing hands. You alone are the Great Physican. You alone can bring strength and miraclulous healing to Coleman's body.

Let the Holy Spirit surround and protect this family, let the love and prayers of their brothers and sisters in Christ comfort them. Let all the glory be yours Father.

    Love you Hinkefents!
