Update from Belinda

Belinda called Becky Manschreck around 6pm and Becky forwards this update.

The hospital is only letting them in to see Coleman for an hour. Prayer is that they can be by his side continually and bring peace to his mind. The poison from the liver is causing haculucinations. She can hear him screaming but can't go in to do anything about it.

  4. Lord, comfort Belinda & Eric's heart as they feel so helpless and separated from their son. They need you to open the doors and allow them to be by Coleman's side. I ask you to do that. There is no doubt that You are there in the room with him. Calm him, calm his body, help him see your face. Lord, I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus.

  6. Among my many prayers is that God will grant you the opportunity to hold and touch Coleman as much as possible. And that God will make you fervently aware of how He is holding Coleman and you both as tightly as you desire to hold him. I hope you realize how many prayers are being lifted for you all from around the world.

  14. Sweet Heavenly Father we love you beyond comprehension and need you now more so than ever. Lord, we ask that you please fill your sweet child Coleman with your Holy Spirit. Work inside of him and be the strength that he needs, Lord Jesus. Nothing is too great. There will never be anything to large or difficult. You are in control of all. Lord, let there be no doubt, question, or worry of your ability to heal. Lord we praise you and thank you for all that you have done in our lives and now we ask that you wrap your arms around Coleman and hold him so tight that he feels your presence, sees your face, knows that you are in control. He will not face this alone. Lord, Jesus be with his family, help them to continue to be an example of the love you have shown for us. Help them to be strong, so that Coleman can feel their confidence. Lord, Jesus we need you so badly right now, we love you more than words can express and ask all of these things in your sons Holy name. Amen

There is no doubt in my mind that Coleman is strong enough to fight this off. The Holy Spirit lives within him and with that nothing is too great. Upon learning of Coleman's illness I returned to reread some of the letters he and I exchanged while he has been gone. He talked enthusiastically about how "big" and "strong" he was getting. Just another way I know he is capable of beating something so awful. Coleman, we love you and we miss you. Be strong! I know you are.

My little "cool-man!" You have no idea just how much we are praying for you buddy. I know that your strength combined with the Lords is unbreakable. Hang in there and continue the fight. We miss and love you more than you know.

Belinda, Eric, Emil, Heather, Erica, Haley and Jordan...I love you all dearly and know that Coleman can feel you all fighting for him. Be strong and know that nothing is too big for our Lord.

  17. Father, I asked that your peace would be upon Eric, Belinda and especially Coleman as you watch over them in Germany. Father I asked that you would give them uncommon favor with the personal there, so that they can spend more time at Coleman’s side. I ask for your peace and comfort to be with Jordan and her family, along with Coleman’s extended family. Most of all Father, I ask for complete healing for Coleman. Father I pray that you would restore his liver function completely, so that all would know that you are God, and beside you there is none other. In Jesus name, Amen.

  20. Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He HEALS the brokenhearted, and BINDS up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our Lord, and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:1-5
I love you Coleman. God is powerful, he can do anything! I will be praying for you and the family! -Katie

  22. Although I did not know Coleman or his family, we have family in Coweta and I have heard the news through them. I am very sorry for your loss and for Coleman's last days were so difficult for his family and beloved friends. God has him now and he is looking down on us with gratitude and comfort that he has such loving friends and faithful family. Coleman was a tremendous man who was strong in faith and character and I pray now for his mother and father that they find peace in knowing that Coleman had time with them to hear their loving words and all of the prayers that were being sent to him. God is awsome and Coleman was a blessed young man that you should take tremendous pride in. God Bless, Claremore
