Update from Belinda

Belinda called Becky Manschreck around 6pm and Becky forwards this update.

The hospital is only letting them in to see Coleman for an hour. Prayer is that they can be by his side continually and bring peace to his mind. The poison from the liver is causing haculucinations. She can hear him screaming but can't go in to do anything about it.

  1. Coleman, Jordan & Family,
Each one of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please be strong, as Coleman fights this battle. Jesus we ask that you watch over Coleman and his family, in this time of need, and bring strength and peace to this situation.

  2. love you so much belinda eric and precious coleman....the girls are doing great and we are praying withuot ceasing for you all

  3. Hinkefent Family,
You're all in my prayers. I hope for a speedy recovery. Stay strong, Coleman needs it most right now. I hope the best for you all, especially Coleman.

  4. Lord, comfort Belinda & Eric's heart as they feel so helpless and separated from their son. They need you to open the doors and allow them to be by Coleman's side. I ask you to do that. There is no doubt that You are there in the room with him. Calm him, calm his body, help him see your face. Lord, I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus.

  5. Coleman,Family & Jordan,
You've all been in my prayers since I heard about the tragic news. I will continue to pray for each one of you. Stay strong, the Lord is with you all. I know you can pull through Little C-Man...hang in there buddy.

  6. Among my many prayers is that God will grant you the opportunity to hold and touch Coleman as much as possible. And that God will make you fervently aware of how He is holding Coleman and you both as tightly as you desire to hold him. I hope you realize how many prayers are being lifted for you all from around the world.

Sweet Heavenly Father we love you beyond comprehension and need you now more so than ever. Lord, we ask that you please fill your sweet child Coleman with your Holy Spirit. Work inside of him and be the strength that he needs, Lord Jesus. Nothing is too great. There will never be anything to large or difficult. You are in control of all. Lord, let there be no doubt, question, or worry of your ability to heal. Lord we praise you and thank you for all that you have done in our lives and now we ask that you wrap your arms around Coleman and hold him so tight that he feels your presence, sees your face, knows that you are in control. He will not face this alone. Lord, Jesus be with his family, help them to continue to be an example of the love you have shown for us. Help them to be strong, so that Coleman can feel their confidence. Lord, Jesus we need you so badly right now, we love you more than words can express and ask all of these things in your sons Holy name. Amen

There is no doubt in my mind that Coleman is strong enough to fight this off. The Holy Spirit lives within him and with that nothing is too great. Upon learning of Coleman's illness I returned to reread some of the letters he and I exchanged while he has been gone. He talked enthusiastically about how "big" and "strong" he was getting. Just another way I know he is capable of beating something so awful. Coleman, we love you and we miss you. Be strong! I know you are.

My little "cool-man!" You have no idea just how much we are praying for you buddy. I know that your strength combined with the Lords is unbreakable. Hang in there and continue the fight. We miss and love you more than you know.

Belinda, Eric, Emil, Heather, Erica, Haley and Jordan...I love you all dearly and know that Coleman can feel you all fighting for him. Be strong and know that nothing is too big for our Lord.
    (Andrea Van Y)

  15. B,Eric and Coleman,
You know how bad I am at this computer stuff....thank you so much for setting up this blog. We love each of you. We are praying along with so many others for Coleman and both of you.
One of my friends came here from a church in Texas, she called to find out if a missionary couple was close to you......they had already received another email asking for prayer from a friend of yours. Coleman truly is in the prayers of people all over the world.
Bets...God is our refuge and strength, xoxo

  16. my baby Coleman...
i can't make it ten minutes without having tears in my eyes. you were always the one next to me wiping them away. you always made me stronger. and now i'm praying the lord makes you stronger for all of us this time. you dont deserve this pain.. so overcome it. i believe you can. you are the strongest person i've ever known so if anyone can do this it would be you.

    eric & belinda..
i wanted to thank you for always being so welcoming when Coleman brought our gang to your house. you are two of the nicest people i've ever met and im praying that you can be by Coleman's side so he can feel your comfort.

    i love you all.

(& please tell me Coleman i love him for me)

  17. Father, I asked that your peace would be upon Eric, Belinda and especially Coleman as you watch over them in Germany. Father I asked that you would give them uncommon favor with the personal there, so that they can spend more time at Coleman’s side. I ask for your peace and comfort to be with Jordan and her family, along with Coleman’s extended family. Most of all Father, I ask for complete healing for Coleman. Father I pray that you would restore his liver function completely, so that all would know that you are God, and beside you there is none other. In Jesus name, Amen.

  18. I don't know Coleman personally, but I know many friends who love him and have always been told of his special place in their hearts. I am praying for Coleman and your family from Little Rock,Arkansas and I know God hears the prayers of those who pray in unison.I ask God to comfort Coleman and to hold all of you in His arms and surround you with His love and strength. You are not alone and neither is Coleman.I will keep praying for I know Coleman is loved by God and many many family members and friends.May God sustain you all
    In Christ, Kris Newell

  19. Coleman is very strong! We know he can pull through this! There are people around the world lifting the Hinkefent family up in prayer and will continue to do so.

Belinda and Eric, i pray that God is with you and Coleman every minute of this tragedy. I pray that Colemans liver regains function fully and correctly and that God will give him the strength to pull through these hard times along with your family. I pray peace will be brought upon Belinda, Eric, and Coleman and also that they can be allowed by Colemans side so that he is not alone in there.

God we pray that you show us your almighty power Lord place your hands on Coleman and heal his body. In Jesus name, Amen.

  20. Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He HEALS the brokenhearted, and BINDS up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our Lord, and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:1-5
I love you Coleman. God is powerful, he can do anything! I will be praying for you and the family! -Katie

  21. Coleman, Belinda, and Eric,
We are praying for each of you and for your entire precious family- for strength, peace, and comfort. May you truly feel the love and the prayers that are holding you up at this time. God can and will wrap you in his arms and carry you - providing for your every need. Coleman is a fighter and the strength that he has shown in Iraq will carry him through this. He is in our thoughts and prayers constantly.
    Mary Carlile (Uncle Karig's sister)

  22. Although I did not know Coleman or his family, we have family in Coweta and I have heard the news through them. I am very sorry for your loss and for Coleman's last days were so difficult for his family and beloved friends. God has him now and he is looking down on us with gratitude and comfort that he has such loving friends and faithful family. Coleman was a tremendous man who was strong in faith and character and I pray now for his mother and father that they find peace in knowing that Coleman had time with them to hear their loving words and all of the prayers that were being sent to him. God is awsome and Coleman was a blessed young man that you should take tremendous pride in. God Bless, Claremore
