The doctors inform us that while Coleman is still very very critical, he has maintained the slight breathing improvement that was reported at 2 AM.
He is still bleeding and receiving blood products and his liver function continues to be very poor. The doctors do not understand why he improves and then regresses and then improves.
We ask you for continued prayer for Coleman’s complete healing and the restoration of his liver function. Thank you for your many prayers and comments so far – which are read to Coleman daily and sustain his family.

Father we thank you that the slight breathing improvement remains and we ask for more. Touch Coleman's lungs that they would work properly. Touch his liver so that it functions properly. Touch his capilaries so they function properly.

Lily of the valley, let Your sweet aroma fill my life.
ReplyDeleteRose of Sharon, show me how to grow in beauty in God's sight.
Fairest of Ten Thousand, make me a reflection of Your Light.
Daystar, shine down on me, let Your love shine thru me in the night.
Lead me Lord! I'll follow anywhere You open up the door.
Let me know your wisdom show me things I've never seen before.
Lord I want to be Your witness and You can take what's wrong and make it right.
Daystar shine down on me let Your love shine thru me in the night.
Lord I see a world that's dying, wounded by the Master of Deceit.
Groping in the darkness, haunted by the years of past defeat.
Then I see you standing near Lord, shining with compassion in Your eyes.
Jesus, shine down on me, let Your love shine through me in the night.
Daystar shine down on me, let Your love shine through me in the night.
Yes... keep on being strong!! The Lord is there with you. He has you. Rest in Him. Again "By His wounds you are healed" Receive His love and healing. We keep on having faith for you! We send our love once more to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteEric, Belinda, & Coleman,
ReplyDeleteIt's been years since I've seen any of you, Coleman probably doesn't even remember me. I can remember Coleman's precious little face, and those heart crushing little eyes. About 5 or 6 years ago, one of my customers told me, "Let go, let God". I had about a 45 minute drive home, and that's exactly what God put in my heart, Joe was completely on board. We put everything in God's hands, found a church and became very involved. Shortly thereafter, the church split up and we didn't go either direction. By the Grace of God, our faith remained in tact, however we have failed to rely fully on Him. All that to say, praying for Coleman, you two, and the rest of your family and friends; reading these posts; and seeing the miracle of each second of Coleman's survival, has strengthened and renewed our love for God. I can't say thank you enough for this blog, you guys will always have a special place in my heart. We will continue to pray ceaselessly for you all, we expect miracles!
Steph

ReplyDeleteGod please be with COleman and his family and help Coleman stay strong and continue to fight through this. Be with him and help him continue to heal.

Gentle hands holding on to me
ReplyDeleteGentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
Like a little child, sometimes it's hard to see
Just which way I need to go and what is best for me
But I have a loving Father, who always understands
And it's a consolation to know that I'm in gentle hands
Gentle hands holding on to me
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
In the darkness of the midnight, it's so hard to see
But I don't have to worry when I know He's holding me
And guiding me
Gentle hands holding on to me
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
You don't have to fear when you're in gentle hands
Eric, Although I don't know your son, I will certainly pray for his total recovery. You are a good friend and, everyone who knows you is thinking about you and yours. Stay tough. Prayer has more power than anything else.

Some of us met again last night at HBC and prayed fervently for all of you. We love you and will keep praying constantly. You're always on our minds and in our hearts.

Jesus loves me! This I know,
ReplyDeletefor the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to him belong,
they are weak, but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! This I know,
as he loved so long ago,
taking children on his knee,
saying, "Let them come to me."
Jesus loves me still today,
walking with me on my way,
wanting as a friend to give
light and love to all who live.

Eric and Belinda,
ReplyDeleteIn our weakness, He is strong. I cannot imagine how tired you must be, but I am confident that Christ is holding you up. I pray that he gives you comfort and strength each moment. You are such a witness to us all in that difficult lesson of faith rest. Please know that my moment by moment thoughts and prayers are with you. I love you.
Coleman, keep holding on to His strength. He will carry on for you when your body is so weak. He will struggle for you. The love he has for you is so alive and powerful. We are praying each moment that he heals your body bit by bit. We love you!
Father, wash an air of peace over this hospital room today. Bring good news of improvement with each round of the doctors. Make this a day of rest for Coleman and Eric and Belinda. They have wrestled for so many days, please bring them a calm day where they can relax in your arms.
Father, we are on our knees, our faces to the ground pleading for a miracle. You have held up this family as a light for the world and they have shone your glory all around. Father, end this test and bring sustenance and comfort to this precious family. Bring them good news of recovery and progress. Father, we love and adore you. You are all we need. We trust in you and your plan. We praise you for the miracle of evangelism you have brought through this storm. I pray that even one person who comes across this blog will know that they are a sinner and they need a savior. I pray that through the prayers and thoughts of our christian family, they will believe that you sent your only Son, who you loved beyond measure, that you sent him to earth to live as a man, sinless. That he chose to separate himself from you on the cross to pay the penalty for every single person's sins. That without this payment on the cross, we deserve nothing less than eternal death and separation from God. That because he sacrificed himself for each one of us, thinking of us personally on the cross, and because he is not dead, but risen and residing in heaven with you again, we too can live in heaven, eternally with our God. If we only believe it and accept that gift.
Father, I thank you that Coleman has already made that decision and we can rest in the knowledge that no matter what, you are holding him in love.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Dear Coleman,
ReplyDeleteOthers who have been in similar situations to you can testify to God's miraculous deliverance in their lives. When David was being hunted down by King Saul and others, he wrote a song to God praising Him for His salvation. David said: He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters, He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but THE LORD WAS MY SUPPORT. He brought me out into a spacious place, He resued me - BECAUSE HE DELIGHTED IN ME. Guess what, Coleman? God delights in you. He is your support, He sustains you. He is rescuing you from the enemy that invades your body. Trust Him - If God is on your side, nothing can stand against you!
We love you and pray without ceasing for healing.
Aunt Sally
Coleman, You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this time of adversity. I know that Jesus Christ is there with you and that God the Holy Spirit is comforting you.

Coleman, we are praying for you to be healed, we as a family feel so blessed and honored that you entered our lives through Jordan. we can now more clearly understand why you are such a good and outstanding indivual, after reading the many comments on your blog site and seeing the unrentless efforts of your parents and brother and sisterinlaw and witnessing there faith we now realize that you could not have become nothing less than the amazing young man that you are. Jordan is doing her very best to stay strong. We pray that it be Gods will that you be healed and God gives your family peace Michael Woodward
ReplyDeleteBelinda, Eric, and Coleman, we pray these verses for Coleman today:
ReplyDeleteJohn 14:13-14 13 "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. Lord, we ask for you to heal Coleman in Jesus name, that you may be glorified.
John 15:16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Lord we ask that, in Jesus name that Coleman will live to bear fruit for your kingdom.
Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
Acts 4:10 "let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. We ask, in the name of Jesus that Coleman will rise up and walk and stand before us whole. Amen.
Coleman,
ReplyDeleteDrew and Jordan and I had "church" at my house last night. We got together and talked and held each other up and prayed together. We were together when we got the encouraging news about your slight improvement. We are convinced that God is working a miracle in you. Stay strong, dear one, keep fighting. God is giving you great strength to overcome this illness.
I pray, Lord, that you will continue to improve Coleman's breathing and oxygen levels. I pray that you will further reduce the edema and thus allow Coleman's body to function properly. I ask that in your timing you will remove the toxins from his blood and make his organs function healthfully again. I pray that you will cure him of all this sickness and ailment and deliver him whole and healthy to those who love him here on earth.
I ask that you will provide a peace that surpasses understanding for Belinda, Eric, Jordan, Emil, and the rest of Coleman's family and friends. Keep them and us strong and give us all the endurance of the mightiest prayer warriors.
Please, Lord, speak to the hearts of the doctors and help them to see You in this drama You have arranged. Help them to realize that Coleman's healing is of You and not them.
In Your Son's name...
Eric, be strong in the Lord. He carries you now.
Belinda, I am honored to know you and have your trust. Wish I could be there, though I know I am needed here. All is well, do not worry.
My love and prayers are with you all every minute.
Thank God for the small improvement. Stay strong, keep fighting. You and your family remain in my prayers. God bless!
ReplyDeleteDear Lord,
ReplyDeleteWe praise and glorify You for the victory is insight! The Battle Belongs to the Lord! Be victorious O Lord! Be victorious O Lord! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Glory be to Jesus Christ the First Born of the Godhead! Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord!!!!
I am praying for that UH HAW moment when Coleman's Dr. says... "That's it, that's what this is, and we can treat it!" ... Please God help the Dr's discover the cause of this... we trust in Your will and know that all of this is part of Your plan for us all.
ReplyDeleteWe Love You All !
Matthew 18:19-20 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
ReplyDeleteColeman, what a miracle you are already. Through your fight for life, more than 5500 people from almost 1200 different places in the world are coming together in prayer for you, your family and friends. Jesus is right there with you. Belinda and Eric, I wish we could be there to hug your necks and hold your hands. Stay strong and do not give up hope. Never ceasing to pray for you all. We love you guys, Vanessa & Robert
Belinda, Eric & Coleman -- The last time I saw Coleman, he was in grade school. At that time he was bold and tenacious and somewhat of a little fireball! God knew the character that Coleman would need today. Please know that so many are standing with you now, as Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ arms (Exodus 17), we stand with all of you in prayer no matter how long it takes. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and encourage your doctors. Please Lord, keep Coleman strong. Please heal him quickly. Jean Anderson
ReplyDeleteColeman, Eric and Belinda...each time I visit your blog I am amazed at the strength and courage that god has given you all in this difficult time. Keep fighting each and every hour and know that we are praying for you. Coleman, you are an amazing person...keep fighting!

ReplyDeleteYou must be strong people and I admire you for your courage and faith. I started praying for Coleman last night and am blessed to see a small miracle last night with the improvement in his lungs.
I will continue to pray for you and Coleman. Stay strong for him. He's fighting hard.

We found your site through another site. We want you to know that we are sending you healing thoughts and keep sending them till complete recovery! And we believe that Coleman can get thruogh this. I am a mother of a toddler (AML leukemia survivor). I have been asked 4 times to make my final decisions on how to handle my son when his lungs and heart stop responding. My son had been on life support for months and failed on conventional ventillators too many times to count. He had failure in all major organs and aside from his kidney nothing worked properly for months. He had bleeding in his lungs and his tissue all over his body for weeks on and it took us 42 days to finally be able to bring him out of coma and move him to conventional life support. I just want you to know that miracles happen, we were given no hope and the medical team told us that he has no chance to survive the injuries and modern medicine has no more help it can provide...yet he is here with us today and cancer free for a year now. Keep your faith in him if nothing else and tell him every chance you get that you believe in him! Every chance! He is fighting because he wants to live and you got to give him that chance! Everyone deserves that!

We do not know Coleman or his family, but through a mutual friend we have been praying for you all. Prayer requests make their way through emails often, and a prayer is always offered up, but sometimes God seems to keep in the forefronts of our minds some of the requests. My daughter and I both feel a connection with Coleman, and pray for him often. We are praying for his strength, health, peace, and for his parents and the doctors, too.
ReplyDeleteColeman,
ReplyDeleteYou are on our minds constantly! Stay strong, keep your faith and know that you are loved by many! We won't stop praying til we see you face to face!

i just recently found out about hinkys condition. i was on leave in germany and if i would have known i surely would have come to see him. it's shocking to see this has happened to him because he was as healthy as an ox before i left. it's still hard to believe. my thoughts and prayers are with him and all of you for a speedy recovery. if hes conscience please tell him sgt.clagg said he needs to recover so he can kick ski's butt in combatives somemore (i'm sure he'll find humour in that). i'm certain and remaining positive he will pull through. hes a strong guy and damn good soldier. thank you for the updates and as i said before him and you all will remain in my thoughts and prayers

Coleman...the girls (Kirsti, Nikki and Lexi) and Rick and I and many who are not on this blog are praying for you constantly. We were talking a day or so ago about when y'all were little, and over at your grandma's pool..., and Kirsti said "Yeah we were the one's who kept our clothes 'on'!", and we all laughed...don't know if you remember that or not...y'all were so little, but my girls always thought you, Emil, and especially Brad Mannschreck(hope I spelled that right)...were all such hoots....I just keep seeing all the big smiles!!! We are praying for the Lord God to bless your family with more of those BIG SMILES and we are believing He is going to answer our prayers. Eric and Belinda we are praying for you too! ...every waking moment...Love to all!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord for giving COleman continuing improvement of breathing. I know the doctors are just amazed and astound at how awesome you are, So many people are being preached to through this blog and if that was the purpose of this horrible lesson God let it end and heal Coleman. Bring peace to everyone who knows Coleman! Let his body rest while you do the work. I can see Coleman giving his testimony to thousands, and bringing thousands before you. "And though our hearts are torn, we will praise you in the storm", all the glory to you Lord. All things are possible ONLY through you God.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me we all still pray for coleman daily, more then once a day, I hope all becomes well really soon, I know it must be hard for you all but Im asking if you can maintain your strength and I want to thank your for all of the information you give to us so we can know what is going on over here.

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear;

ReplyDelete1.Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my sighing.
2.Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.
3.In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
11.But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
12.For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

ReplyDeleteThere is a song I love that has been special in my life.
The song is "He'll Do It Again" - mine is by Christa Matheou.
The words are:
You may be down and feel that God has somehow forgotten
You are faced with circumstances you can't get through
Right now it seems there's no way out, you're going under
But God's proven time, and time again, He'll take care of you.
And He'll do it again.
He'll do it again.
Just take a look at where you are now and where you've been
Hasn't He always come through for you
He's the same God as then
You may not know how
You may not know when
But He'll do it again
God knows the things you're going through
And He knows how you're hurting
He knows how your heart has been broken in two
Oh but He's the God of those stars
of the sun
and the sea
He is your Father
If he can calm a storm
He'll find some way to fix this for you
And He'll do it again
He'll do it again
Just take a look at where you are now and where you've been
Hasn't He always come through for you
He's the same God as then
You may not know how
you may not know when
but He'll do it again
Oh yes He's still God
And He will not fail you
Oh He's still God
And He will not change
I know that He's God
I know He's for you
Just like Moses
Just like Samuel
Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego
He'll do it again
Just take a look at where you are now
and where you've been
Hasn't He always come through for you
He's the same God as then
You may not know how
You may not know when
But He'll do it again
Lord, that's our prayer -
That You'll do it again.
That You will provide the miracle healing Coleman so desperately needs and that we, Your children, have so earnestly prayed for.
We love you Lord. We trust You. We know you love Coleman and his family and that You are in their midst. We pray that they all feel your presence and rest in your hands.
