7:00 PM - Homburg, Germany –
Coleman continues to hold his small improvement but remains in very critical condition.
He was being given 100% Oxygen and now is down to 40% - a miracle in itself. He is still requiring blood and blood products and his blood pressure remains unstable.
The doctor again noted that he continues to cycle through improvement and decline. They are still confounded at the reason for his liver failure and it is essential his liver regain function for continued improvement.
This evening the wife of Coleman’s Battalion Commander read scripture and prayed with Coleman as did a pastor and his wife from a local church near Landstuhl.
We are thankful for these and all who write and who have prayed faithfully. We are thankful for this day with Coleman and we humbly ask for your continued prayers on his behalf.

C'mon buddy hang in there...
ReplyDeletestill praying for you...
with love,

Father God - I thank you that Coleman's small improvement has remained. Father we ask that you will heal Coleman's liver and make it new Lord.
ReplyDeleteI thank you for those who have stood in our place and been able to be physically present with Eric, Belinda, and Coleman.
Father, I echo the words of Daniel:
O my God, incline Your ear and hear!
Open Your eyes and see our need;
For we are not presenting our requests before You on account of our righteousness but because of Your great compassion.
O Lord, hear!
O Lord, forgive!
O Lord, listen and take action!
For Your own sake, O my God, do not delay, becuase we are Your people called by Your name.
Father, I am amazed at your continuous answers to our prayers. Thank you for holding Coleman together today and for maintaining the improvements he has made.
ReplyDeleteI ask again that you stand in his place and hold him together while he is so weak. Give him strength and endurance. Make time stand still within him so that the doctors have time to figure out the proper treatments. Confound the doctors with your miracles.
I thank you so much for our unknown Christian brothers and sisters who come to Belinda and Eric's side to give them comfort and rest. Father, I ask again that you hold Coleman together in your hands and make this night a night of rest for Eric and Belinda. Continue to bring local prayer warriors to their side, to hold them up and bring support. Allow these Christians to be such a source of encouragement to them and allow them to provide them with the rest they need. Thank you for showing such love and compassion to them that while we are so far away and unable to come alongside, you provide our substitutes.
We praise you for this day they have been able to spend with their son. Wash peace and serenity over them this evening and bring only good news of improvement from the doctors.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Coleman,
ReplyDeleteLook at you buddy!! You are such a fighter. Just remember that you have the only person that can carry you through this on your side, give it to him Coleman, He will carry you all the way.
Dear Father God,
We ask you Father God to give the wisdom to the doctors to find the root of the problem. We ask that you continue to bring improvement and return Coleman to the quality of life that he deserves. Please Father God wrap Coleman in your arms during this journey. Father God please bring comfort to Belinda,Eric,Emil,Heather,Erica,Haley,Jordan, family and friends.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen
I was looking at some pics that Coleman has on myspace and it just makes me smile to see how funny he is. He has got a smile from ear to ear in most of them and all the other ones he is doing something that will make anyone laugh! He has touched so many people. Tell him that he has 6097 visitors from 1329 cities rooting for him and that number is growing by the minunte!!
We will continue to pray for that wonderful Coleman.
Dearest Father,
ReplyDeleteAs I was spending time with You a few minutes ago, You reminded me of Esther. In her day, to go before her king, she risked her life. She had no assurance that she'd be heard or that her king would even allow her entrance into his throne room.
Yet, as those who belong to You, Lord, have immediate entrance into the Holy of Holies, Lord. We stand before you in CONFIDENCE, knowing that our audience with You is assured through Jesus Christ.
So we come, Lord. As children who belong to You..God Most High. We thank You that You promise us mercy and grace, Father.
Lord, every single person here who belongs to You knows that if You call Coleman home, that's a gift to Coleman.
Yet Father, we ask You today to do what will bring YOU THE MOST GLORY. Lord, the world is tuned in here...countless people have commented, yet we know that many, many more are watching silently.
Oh, Father..that You will GLORIFY YOUR NAME to them. We know, Lord, that only You know how best that can be done...but we beseech You Father, please allow it to be accomplished by healing Coleman completely...that he might then go from that day forward, proclaiming Your sovereignty to all he meets.
God, we stand before Your throne. We praise You that Yours is the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. You are the only true God. You are in control.
We love you dearly, Precious Father, and we hope in You.
In the Awesome Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior...
Amen
Baby steps Coleman, baby steps. You're doing a good job! I'm sure it's a struggle for you, but don't give up. We're all with you in spirit cheering you on. Again, you're a great kid & have made such an impact on everyone's lives....including complete strangers. When your story is told it touches many lives. Keep fighting, stay strong! As many have said before, you've got this!

Not giving up on you Coleman!
ReplyDeleteAngels exist, only sometimes they haven't got wings and we call them friends; you are one of them.
ReplyDeleteKeep fighting Coleman.
Coleman you are a real man’s man. You are a hero in every sense of the word, just like the heroes of faith we studied about in Sunday school. God has helped you this far, and his grace can take you the rest of the way. Please hang in there. We are praying for you non-stop, trusting God to make you completely whole.
ReplyDeleteFather we are thankful for the improvements in Coleman’s health. We know that everything we have is a gift from you. We are grateful. We pray for your continued health and strength to rest upon Coleman. We will be careful to give you the glory for you healing touch. In Christ name, Amen.
Galen
Dear Coleman
ReplyDeleteWe are praising God today for you and for answered prayer. Just remember that our God never slumbers or sleeps - He's there for you 24/7. Hold firm to Him.
You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
Aunt Sally
Dear Eric and Belinda,
I have been praying for someone to be there in person when we cannot, and I'm rejoicing in more answered prayer. I am also very encouraged by the postings here from young leukemia survivors. Our God is truly awesome.
Sally
I am reminded of the song:
ReplyDelete"O how wonderful, how marvelous, and my song shall ever be. How wonderful, how marvelous, is my Savior's love for me"
Father, we are amazed at how you continue to allow us to participate in this miracle. We thank you for Eric, Belinda, Coleman, their family and their impact for the glory of God. Father, we beseech you to provide insight to the doctors of the cause of the liver problems. Father, you know what is the source--we ask for your divine insight to be provided. Laura Elmore
Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, You became man and died on the cross for our salvation. You healed people of sickness and affliction through Your love and compassion. Visit Coleman, Lord and grant him the strength to bear this sickness with which he is afflicted, with patience, submission to Your will and trust in Your loving care. I pray that You will bless the means used for Coleman's recovery and those who administer them. Grant that Coleman's sickness may be to his spiritual benefit and that he may live the rest of my life more faithfully according to Your will. For You are the source of life and healing and to You I give praise and glory, now and forever. Amen.
ReplyDeleteImprovement is so good to hear little buddy!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't even tell you how many people I have asked to pray for you.
You are now everyone across America's little hero. You will make it. I feel it.
Seeing how much all these people are praying for you, I feel so priviledged to say I am one of your friends. Continue to stay strong and keep fighting this. I have lots of faith that you will win this with God's help.
Love you Coleman.
Christa
A detailed prayer request has gone out to my old church in Kansas City, the Missouri Cursillo community, my current pastors, several friends, my church's UMW group, posted on my blog, sent via twitter and posted as a note and a status on my facebook page. Hundreds more have been added to those praying.
ReplyDelete"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16 We continue to go to our God and ask the impossible. Our friends at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York are praying for Coleman. Love, Bryan.
ReplyDeleteKeep fighting Coleman...Little battles win the big war. We are all still pulling hard for you we know God will show you the way to a full recovery!
ReplyDeleteFather, we are grateful for all of these little miracles that have sustained Coleman and allowed him to live through another day. Please continue, Father. Please bring all of his vital signs up so that the doctors can biopsy his liver. Please grant the doctors the wisdom and insight to find the root of the problem and heal him. Thank you for placing him in this hospital with such an unrelenting and caring and staff. Be with Coleman and speak peace and comfort to him.
ReplyDeleteThank you for those who have come in person to stand with Eric and Belinda and pray with Coleman. Continue to sustain Eric and Belinda with Your love and comfort. Remind them all constantly that we love them.
We are all so thankful to God and encouraged to read good news each time we check to see how Coleman is doing. I pray: Thank you God for Your good works, we continue to pray that You will reach out and touch Coleman and cure the evil that is hidden from us. We honor Your name and ask for Coleman's healing.
ReplyDeleteGive Belinda, Eric and the Doctors the strenght to continue their war against this terrible thing that has invaded Coleman's body.
We thank You for all that You have shown us already and know that Your miracles will continue all in Your will.
Thank You Father, in Your Son's Jesus name we pray.
Amen

Some of my mother's friends out here who don't even know me, read this blog and have gotten real emotional and continue to pray for you. You are such an amazing boy. You were always there for me no matter what whenever I needed you, and I will continue to return the favor. The night I met you completely changed my life forever and I am so grateful for it. ReplyDeletePrayer for a miracle. From Oregon.
ReplyDeleteWOW! From 100% to 40%! I have recently been reminded of one of Horton's favorite phrases "God is never late, but He's always on time." He continues to be on time for you. I pray He continues to work these healing miracles and brings you once more to full health and vitality. Love you, kiddo. You and your folks are constantly in my conversations with God. Keep up the good fight!

Coleman,
ReplyDeleteThis is the Williams Family in Germany. We don't know eachother, but through Christ we are related. We received an email from our pastor about you and right now we want to lift you up in prayer. Reading your blog it is obvious that God is working so hard and when He starts something He will finish it! He does not give up. Praise Him! We pray for a miracle. We pray for answers for your doctors and the Lord's continued instruction regarding your treatment. We pray that you feel the Lord's presence. We pray for your body to respond to the treatment you are receiving.
We pray for protection and the Lord's healing. we pray for comfort for your parents and your fiance at this moment. Keep fighting Coleman!!!
We will keep on praying!!!
Dont give up Coleman! Many people have visited this site and prayed for you! With all of these prayers, you are going to be healed and better in just a matter of time! I am praying for you, your family, and Jordan. You are strong for serving our country, and your going to make a strong recovery!
ReplyDeleteJordan Bracken
Coleman, It is so great for us to hear you are so close to room-air sats, I nearly fell in the floor! (I get a bit excited at times) I tell you what, son, I can only imagine all of the souls that have come to the Lord that would have spent eternity with Satan just reading about the humility you possess behind that M-16. I am so proud, as I am sure your Mama and Dad, Jordan Emil and the rest of the crew, at your faith and perserverence in your time of trial, Honey, testing with fire is a, well a, drag (doesn't quite sound strong enuff) wouldn't want to..... Remember my sweet boy, or should I say HERO, many are praying endlessly for a more rapid recovery, but to go from 100% O2 to 40% is absolutely remarkable, I at least know a bit about that part after being in the Cornoary Medicine Unit for several years. Eric, your boy just took that hill, please give my buddy, Belinda a big hug for me, I would love to, haven't gotten my wings yet!\
ReplyDelete\
Father, please, as we lift Coleman up to you, our 1st and foremost desire is that through out this whole gut wrenching time that YOU and only YOU may be glorified in every way, shape, and form. May all the love you have for this broken soldier surround him with your loving arms, comfort him Father, comfort Belinda and eric and they are right there on the front lines with their precious son. Father, please give the doctos and nurses the insight into this strange affliction that has visited Coleman's body, so they can let it realize it has worn out its welcome! Thank you Father for the improvement in his respiratory situation, and we pray with all we know how to and never ceasing that it is a downhill battle from this minute forward, no more hills to climb, only flat or downward terrain, and, when Coleman gets to the crossroads, there are his boots and camos, neatly folded, so this soldier WILL be returning home with HIS boots on! All this I pray once again that it be your awesome will that all the tears we all shed in the end are as we watch Coleman walk out of that plane onto the tarmack. In Jesus Christ's precious name,Amen
Difficult challenges are put in our path, not to stop us, but to strengthen us. Stay strong Coleman, Belinda, Eric, Emil, Jordan, Debbie, Mike and the rest of your family and friends. We will continue praying.
ReplyDeleteDevian, Jamie, Mason & Dustin Flores
My little hero is improving. Thats what i like to see! Just one step at a time.. thats all it takes. Lord we ask that you continue to bring improvement and return Coleman to the quality of life that he deserves. Please Father God wrap Coleman in your arms during this journey.

Coleman you are making progess. Inch by Inch, step by step .We know you can pull through. It is path few take, you were chosen because your strong and we are all pulling together with you. The inspiration your giving to the rest of us is incredible. You have changed many peoples lives with your valiant fight.
ReplyDeleteTo the friends and family of Coleman, Not a single one of you have any idea of who I am, Im just a follower of Christ who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma..But I want you to know that a powerful expression of God's love is about to be witnessed by all of you! The Bible says when three or more believers come together in one accord all things are possible through Christ.. and that all things work for the good for those who believe in and follow Jesus Christ.. Your prayers are heard and there is obviously more than three standing in agreement with Colemans healing..
ReplyDeleteRemember.. No weapon formed against us shall prosper... you see that??.. NO WEAPON.. meaning any form of sickness or disease.. it was written in the Bible..God gave us His word and His word doesn't come back void! It can't! Meditate on this scripture..
Philippians 4:6 - Worry About Nothing, Pray About everything..
I don't know you Coleman (although I feel like I do after praying for you so much). I dreamed night before last that I was in your hospital room. It was very large. There were hundreds of people lined up to pray for you. A woman was there (a nurse--I think) and was encouraging each person in the line to touch you with their hands and pray for you that way. I was holding my one-year-old son Benjamin. (Note: Benjamin almost died when he was two weeks old and Jesus rescued him! So, his presence in the dream is important.) For some reason, I looked away from you. Someone poked me and said, "Look at him. Do you see? Do you see?" very excitedly. I looked up to see you sitting up in the bed with no ventilator, no tubes of any kind and you were perfectly healthy! No problems at all. Immediately, you began to lead worship in the room. You sang the song "My Hope is in You" by Third Day. It was an amazing time of worship. I had the strong sense that you had done this before.
ReplyDeleteYour healing in the dream was so complete and so miraculous that you could sense the amazement from everyone. When I could get to you to talk to you, I began to ask you when you were coming back to Germany to share your testimony of what God had done for you. I encouraged you strongly to come as I was certain that your story would cause people to RUN to Jesus. You agreed that you wanted to share your story and we talked about you staying with us in Berlin. (We are American missionaries living in Berlin and we do have room for you to stay!) I'll never forget the light that was shining in your eyes as I talked to you. It was the light of Jesus.
We are awaiting the fulfillment of this dream as our family prays for you without stopping....Della Magnet
Coleman, you have so many people rooting for you.. even complete strangers like myself. Your story has touched many lives. You are a hero to so many. God loves you and is blessing you daily. Don't give up the fight. You have a purpose in this life and if you pull through this your testimony to others will be amazing

ReplyDeleteChattanooga, Tn
Lord, thank you for the "small" improvements. While I remain thankful for these provisions, I continue to ask for significant change. Lord, I ask this because you implore me and your other children to come before your throne of grace and seek grace. While I do not know what is best or wise, I do not that love constains me to ask for Coleman's best. Lord, may you be glorified in this situation.
ReplyDeleteLord, please comfort and care for Coleman, Eric, Belinda, Emil, Heather, Erica, Haley, and Jordon.
I am still trusting God, our anchor , in this storm. He can still the turbulence, and can calm you through it... Many people have witnessed this. Bless those who have done what they could for you there. Here in Tulsa, we are thankful and humbled that strangers have given you grace,, maybe they are angels in disguise? in any respect, they are messengers of God.. LOve always

ReplyDeletecoleman what a soldier you are. The battles that you have already one and have fought. You are truly a miracle young man.
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father I come to you today in Jesus mighty name. I pray for Coleman's liver to be restored and for a complete recovery. I pray for wisdom for the doctors and staff that are treating him. May you comfort Belinda and Eric and give them peace. Father we just ask that supernatural healing take place in his body, and we promise to give you all the glory. I pray also Father for those that may not know you as their Lord, may they find out what a true God you are, and that they know that you are the way to Heaven. Show them that you sent your son to save us, and he took that awful beating on the cross so that they and Coleman could be healed of sickness. Allow their hearts and minds to be opened to receive the gift of salvatio. Let them confess with their own mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord. A name above all names. He is our rock and our foundation. We give you all the praise.
