Urgent Update

Coleman is very critical. His blood pressure is dangerously low and he is back on 100% oxygen and is receiving blood products. He is once again at the furthermost limits of modern medicine. The doctor has informed us that Coleman is as bad as he was 3 nights ago, but is no longer responding to the pharmaceuticals used to raise his blood pressure. Again the doctor is clear as then – if his body does not respond on its own, he will not make the night. Again the doctors are clear about our directive – never quit.

Coleman is surely weakened from the last week’s battle. We ask you pray without ceasing.

  4. Lord, This is not an unfamiliar place - we have been here before and You allowed Coleman to pull through. We ask You to do it again. Strengthen his weak body and allow his blood pressure to normzlize. Allow his lactate levels to normalize, and restore his liver. It seems so huge to us, so desperate, but it only requires the touch of Your hand. We trust You Lord, no matter what.

  24. Father, please stablize Coleman's blood pressure, cause his lungs & liver to function correctly. I ask that the medicine he is being given to work quickly. Continue to give the doctors the just the right information they need for decisions, not to move too slow or fast, and read all the tests correctly. Don't let them miss one little detail. Give them good sleep and rest tonight; families that are patient and understanding for all they bear in the caring for patients.

    I praise You,Father, for all You've provided this past week for Coleman. Thank you my Lord. But I ask for more because You never weary from continued requests and needs. Please keep it up. Please keep pouring your grace and mercy and healing upon this boy. I will not give up asking daily for his complete recovery.

  36. Lord, please hug Eric and Belinda for me, Give them a shoulder to cry on,, lift their burden, and bless them with calmness. You are everything to them, and You alone deserve credit for your miracles. Heaven's angels are watching and marvel that a family can bless Your name, through tears of grief and pain. Thank you Jesus for suffering to be completely sympathetic with our earthly pains. When we are at home in heaven, we will see clearly what is so vague in our eyes now. The tapestry of days will be finished and we will understand what the dark "threads of time" meant to the whole revelation of God's plan. But til then we are kept woven in our family of God by faith , hope and love. and the greatest of these is love. I am so grateful for these who care about and for Coleman with your love. Suzy

  37. Dear God, I come to You again in Jesus name because He is my only hope as I agree with every loving prayer that You have heard on Coleman's behalf over these past days and I continue to add my own plea for further and even greater miracles in his life.

    I thank You for all these wonderful people of every age and circumstance who've brought such love and faith to Coleman's battle and I thank each of them for the incredible encouragement and comfort their prayers have given our family.

    I ask Your continued blessings of strength and courage on my darling daughter Belinda Marie, and my amazing son-in-law Eric as they stand by their son with a perfected faith in Your Son's willingness to present our prayers to You.

    It is only through Jesus promise that we can ask for what we so desperately want and need without violating our commitment to accept Your will in all things Father.

    That's why I can pray in Jesus Christ's blessed name that You heal every aspect of Coleman's body and allow this Christmas miracle to become a living testimony to your perfect love and plan for all of us.

  55. Dear Lord,
    We come before You begging for the life of this young man. Jesus Christ, please fight this battle for our brother-in-Christ, Coleman. We are standing on Your Word.

    Jesus, You tell us in Your Holy Word that "But (God's Grace) is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" 2 Timothy 1:10. Lord, if You have abolished death, then death does not have hold over us that are born of You. Lord, You have abolished death and have provide life to us.

    Holy One, You tell us that "With long life will I satisfy( you) and show (you) my salvation." Psalm 91:16 Coleman, Lord, he could such great works on this earth in Your Name. Jesus, please grant Coleman long life, at least the three score and ten years.

    Jesus, You tell us "Because he has set his love upong me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him." Psalm 91:14-15 Jesus, please deliver Coleman from this sickness and illness that have come upon his body.

    Sweet Jesus, You tell us "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgiveth all thine inquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103: 2-5

    Jesus, please heal Coleman from the diseases in his body and renew this youth as the eagle's.

    Lord, we are asking in agreement that You breath for Coleman so that there are increased oxygen levels .

    We are asking in agreement that You will keep his blood pressure strong and bring it back to a normal range.

    We pray that Your Holy Spirit will
    strenghten, and provide peace/comfort to Coleman and family.

    God bless the medical staff and Eric and Belinda with wisdom and sound judgement in this great time of need.

    Lord, we are standing on Your Word and claiming for our friends who are such great need. We claim and affirm especially Psalm 91 for Coleman, his parents, his siblings, other family members, friends, and church family.

    Psalm 91
    Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty
    1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

    2 I will say of the LORD,He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

    3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,and from the noisome pestilence.

    4 He shall cover thee with his feathers,and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

    6 nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

    7 A thousand shall fall at thy side,and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

    8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

    9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,even the Most High, thy habitation;

    10 there shall no evil befall thee,neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

    11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee,to keep thee in all thy ways.

    12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
    lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

    13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
    the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

    14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

    15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:I will be with him in trouble;
    I will deliver him, and honor him.

    16 With long life will I satisfy him,
    and show him my salvation.

    Please dear Lord, bring this child through one more night and day.

    Lord, we ask all of this things in Your Precious Son's Name,Jesus Christ. Amen.

  61. I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in,
    And then a little light from Heaven filled my soul;
    It bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above,
    And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole.

    Now let us have a little talk with Jesus.
    Let us tell Him all about our troubles.
    He will hear our faintest cry
    And He will answer by and by.
    Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning,
    Then you’ll know a little fire is burning.
    You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.

    Sometimes my path seems drear, without a ray of cheer,
    And then a cloud of doubt may hide the light of day;
    The mists of sin may rise and hide the starry skies,
    But just a little talk with Jesus clears the way.

    I may have doubts and fears, my eyes be filled with tears,
    But Jesus is a friend who watches day and night;
    I go to Him in prayer, He knows my ev'ry care,
    And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right.

    Now let us have a little talk with Jesus.
    Let us tell Him all about our troubles.
    He will hear our faintest cry
    And He will answer by and by.
    Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning,
    Then you’ll know a little fire is burning.

  71. First thing I do when I get up, last thing at night, and every time I walk in the door is check for an update - and I've never even met any of you. I know God has laid you on my heart for I feel an urgency to pray.
    Lord, still seeking that Christmas miracle. You haven't taken him home yet so I continue lifting this family up asking for total healing for Coleman and peace during the storm for them all. I know you are being glorified through this (this website alone is an awesome testimony). Be glorified Lord. We love you in the valleys and on the mountain tops. Jesus, touch Coleman's body. Bring physical healing to him. Please Lord, listen to your children and grant this miracle so many are seeking. In Jesus Name, Amen. - A Mom

  72. Love you so much Belinda, Eric, and sweet Coleman....your girls had such a good day today...they surely know somewhere in their hearts that you are greatly needed elsewhere right now, because God is clearly giving them a special provision of peace and happiness without you all here. Rest in that. Know that we will not stop praying for a miracle...and for your comfort sweet sister and your strength and endurance Eric. I know God is in control no matter how out of control things keep turning. Lord, please put your arms around my sister and her son...let them feel you nearer than ever this night. In Jesus name...who knows has numbered every hair on Coleman's head. Thank you.

  77. Coleman

    I had a dream on wednesday night.
    I was in your hospital room. It was just you and I. You were hooked up to a bunch of machines. I stood by your bedside. For what seemed like hours. It was completely silent. I remember having tears in my eyes. But this voice kept telling me that you were going to be okay. It wasnt a familiar voice. No one else was in the room. But yet this voice kept telling me that you were going to be okay. Then doctors and nurses began to come into your room and unhook you from all these machines. I couldnt understand why. I kept telling them not to, but its like they couldnt hear me. So they proceeded to unhook you from all these machines and they left. You just lied there. Then you began to wake up, you opened your eyes and you smiled. You were okay. You were healed. Its like none of that ever happened.

    Ive been praying for you Coleman. I cant even tell you how many times i check this blog daily. I check it at home and on my phone. Constantly. I know you can fight this. No one is giving up on you. Ever. Youre brave, strong and courageous. I know you can get through this.

    "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask for in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
    -Matthew 21:22

    Never give up.
    Never back down.
    Never lose faith.

    You can do this Coleman Wayne Hinkefent.

    Just believe.

  79. "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
    Ephesians 3:20-21

    We will not give up hope. God can even go beyond what we ask for, and we're asking for a miracle. I thank God that He hears all of the prayers offered here. May they continue to rise to heaven as a mighty chorus.

    Great is Thy faithfulness!
    Great is Thy faithfulness!
    Morning by morning new mercies I see.
    All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
    Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

  80. Heavenly Father I come before you once again and pray for the miracle of life for this precious young man. My prayer is that his liver be restored and functioning as you designed. I pray for restored oxygen levels and full restoration of his body. I know you sent your son to save us. Please save this young man. Watch over Belinda and Eric and give them strength once again, I pray for the wisdom of the doctors that are treating him or the ones they are consulting. Let them find the answers to treat him. We know you are capable of this. You sent your son to die on the cross for us, for him, for all these people that might see this. We thank you for the gift of salvation. Your word tells us in Isaiah that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. I claim this for Coleman. Satan you are under our feet everyday, we are children of God and are heirs to the Mighty throne. I bind you in the the name of Jesus to leave Coleman's body so he can be healed. He is the Head and not the tail. His sickness was paid by Christ on the Cross, for it was his stripes that he received that allow Coleman to be healed. I thank you for the supernatural healing that is going on in his body now...in Jesus Might Name..Amen

  81. (Psalm 23) A reading from the book of Psalms.
    The LORD is my shepherd;
    there is nothing I lack.
    In green pastures you let me graze;
    to safe waters you lead me;
    you restore my strength.
    You guide me along the right path
    for the sake of your name.
    Even when I walk through a dark valley,
    I fear no harm for you are at my side;
    your rod and staff give me courage.
    You set a table before me
    as my enemies watch;
    You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
    Only goodness and love will pursue me
    all the days of my life;
    I will dwell in the house of the LORD
    for years to come.
