Urgent Update 8:30 PM

Urgent Update 8:30 PM

The doctor has again informed us that Coleman's condition is worse than last night. His blood pressure and lungs are the main focus of treatment and should the current treatment protocols in these areas fail, they have no other medical options.

Though the doctor on duty is again very frank - I told him the same thing I've told them each night - don't give up on that boy. His simple reply "never" says it all.

Please continue in prayer for Coleman.

  3. Father God - We cry out to You, not because You are our only hope, but because You love Coleman (and his family and the rest of us). We have only the tortured groans of those in deep pain and we seek You and Your comfort.

Lord we pray for Coleman's blood pressure to stablize. We pray that the fluid in his lungs will drain and allow the lungs to work as you have designed them to and bring plenty of oxygen to his body. Lord the body you created is one of great mystery, but not to You. You know the hows and whys of each cell and organ.

Give the doctors and medical staff great wisdom and clarity as they treat Coleman.

Give Eric and Belinda strength for these minutes that seem like hours. Lord strengthen our faith as we wait upon You.

Lord you tell us in Romans 12 that Your plan is "good, pleasing, and perfect." Help us to trust You and your plan. Lord the deep desires of our heart is that this plan includes Coleman here with us for many years to come.

    In Christ's name I pray.

  12. My saintly Grandmother claims this Scripture when someone is bleeding:
Eze 16:6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
When my daughter's birthmother was hemorraging after birth, I plead this Scripture on her behalf in Jesus' name and the bleeding stopped. God's Word is LIFE! Monica (TN)

You are in my thoughts and prayers with every moment that passes. We are all learning new lessons daily about prayer with ceasing in your behalf.
Belinda, you are always claiming to be the #1 favorite daughter. Well I can confidently say that right now you are #1 favorite daughter, sister, mother, neighbor and friend to so many right now.

Lord I pray that Your healing power is still working a miracle through Coleman. I pray that You are walking beside when he has the strength and carrying him when he does not. I pray that You will comfort, protect and give peace to Belinda, Eric and all of Coleman’s family and loved ones. We thank You Lord for all the love and mercy You have bestowed on them through this struggle and ask that You please continue to help them in their hour of need. I pray all these things in Your most holy name. Thank You Jesus.

My children and I were studying James together just a bit ago, and we were picking this verse apart. There is such promise in this verse. I pray it brings you much comfort right now.

What an awesome thing to know and take refuge in the fact that the Lord has promised the crown of life to those who love Him!

We all have a front row seat, watching as you are persevering under this trial. What a joy to know that each one of you will be approved..each one of you will receive the crown of life one day!

    We love you,

James 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which {the Lord} has promised to those who love Him.

  27. My family is continually in prayer for Coleman. When I had cancer I was a lost soul. God not only preserved my body but he also gave me eternal life by His side. This Psalm gave me much strength during that time of trial. I know Coleman's situation is different but this Psalm reveals the power of God to heal body and soul.

    Psalm 30
1 A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
    11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Isa.38:1-5 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'" 2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3 and said, "Remember now, O LORD, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying, 5 "Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

  46. Lord, Be with Coleman as he fights. Give him comfort, and may You ahve a special relationship with him now that none of us could comprehend. May You pour out a double portion of your compassion, comfort, mercy and grace on Eric and Belinda as they watch their son, Your child. Our desire is that You restore Coleman in a way that astounds all those watching. We thank You for the many answered prayers, and for the much needed and much appreciated encouragement from fellow believers. We place our trust in You, knowing Your will is good and right.

Eric & Belinda - we stand firmly with you in spirit and in prayer.

    Psalm 40:1-5

I waited patiently for the LORD,
and He turned to me and heard my cry for help.

He brought me up from a desolate pit,
    out of the muddy clay,
and set my feet on a rock,
    making my steps secure.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
    Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the LORD.

    How happy is the man
who has put his trust in the LORD
and has not turned to the proud
or to those who run after lies!

LORD my God, You have done many things—
    Your wonderful works and Your plans for us;
    none can compare with You.
If I were to report and speak [of them],
they are more than can be told.

  47. Come on C-Man! Prove to the Doctor's that your faith is stronger than any medicine! Be the Christmas Miracle your family, friends and total strangers need! It is your time to shine, so let's see God work through you so you can shine your light back on the world! I know there is a reason you have to go through this, and by what I am reading on your posts, you are touching total strangers, and only you would allow God to use you in such a unique way!

Strangely enough the words above bring me back to our church play and the words to the song you had to sing,

"We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times

Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world"

Come on C-Man...you have a whole world to light!!

  52. Jesus we know that your word says that we should ask for your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We know there is no sickness or disease in heaven. So, Jesus we ask for your will to be done in Coleman's life here on earth as it is in heaven. We command all these sicknesses to leave his body immediately --the Leukemia, the VOD, the liver failure, the fluid in his lungs, the bleeding and any other illnesses we have not named. We say you must leave Coleman now. We also command that he would not just recover from this, but that he would be healed as if it had never happened. We ask for perfect health for Coleman and that there not even be side effects from all the medications he has been given. Jesus we know you died for us. We know you have power over all things and your power is greater than anything that can come against us here on earth. So, do your will Jesus. We know you have good plans for Coleman and we will not stop asking until he is healed and healthy and whole. We thank you Jesus ahead of time for the amazing testimony of your love and power Coleman will display. Amen

I really felt like God was saying yesterday that Coleman's name is significant. He is like a Coleman camping lantern--able to take a beating while shining out the light of Jesus. The circumstances around him do not affect the light inside him because it comes from Jesus. Coleman camping lanterns are portable--you can take them where you need them--to wherever there is darkness. This is pleasing to God and Coleman will take the light of Jesus to many nations.

  65. How awesome God is to let us witness a fragment of His unseen realm. It is overwhelming to read all these prayers to our Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father that you are Omnipotent! Thank you, that you created us with just a word. Thank you, that this will all turn out just as you planned. Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Father God once again I ask you to heal Coleman's body. Restore him to complete health.

  98. Precious Father, you know that one of your special children is fighting the greatest battle of his life right now. Lord, I pray first for comfort, that he might rest peacefully. I also ask that during this time you do a miraculous healing in his body. Father, you have promised that if two of us on earth agree about anything we ask for, it will be done by our Father in heaven. We are asking for this now. We pray that however you will to work in this situation that you would receive the glory and that you would hold this precious family in your protective wings, and that they would TRULY feel your arms carrying them through this difficult time. You are good, Abba, and you half all power in heaven and on earth, and we plead that you would intercede and do a mighty work that the doctors who are over Coleman's case would fall to their knees before the greatest healer of them all. Thank you for your love in times of trial and heartache. Please give Coleman's parents peaceful rest tonight as I am sure they are tired from the worry and grief. We ask all these things in the powerful name our precious Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

  107. heavenly father we come before you once more. you know our hearts and hear our prayers, comfort Coleman and his family and give them peace. My first prayer is for the total and complete recovery of all his body organs. May the doctors be given wisdom to do what only you know they can. The rest is in your hands. We have all read of the miracles that you have done...we are asking for one in the healing of Coleman's body. Comfort him and give him peace as well as Belinda and Eric. May the bleeding be stopped and this young man receive a full recovery. You are our maker. We all stand in agreement as your word says it shall be done and will not return void. We thank you for that and for the gift of your son. Guard him and protect him from all evil in Jesus name I pray amen

We are praying for you to be healed by the loving hand of our Father, to rise up and be a "miracle" for all the world to witness. May the Spirit of the Lord infuse your body with the strength and healing. I pray that you can hear your Mom read these blessed messages being sent to encourage you. Don't let go of the hem of His garment.
Belinda and Eric, may God also infuse you with the needs for your strength and well-being. Please know our hearts cry out to the Lord for the three of you and the family members here.

God Bless the 3 of you and may His arms hold you, comfort you and give you more strength than you could ever imagine.
