Update from Eric

Returned from the hospital about 5 pm - having been there much more than the German hospital wanted us around. Coleman is in ICU, on a ventilator, receiving blood and chemo, and heavily sedated.

Despite the dire nature of Coleman's circumstances, not one word of this message should cause any to give up hope.

There is lots of fight still left in the boy - they had to restrain and sedate him because he became so disoriented (due to the liver issues according to the doctor) that he fought off the nurses and bit one of them. His liver continues to be the critical concern - and transplants are apparently not an option in cases of leukemia.

Please continue to pray - Coleman is stubborn and still fighting. We cannot fail him at this hour.

  5. Becky and I are praying for Coleman's recovery. We find so often that God stretches us right to the limit before delivering us. In this, we know He is our God. We know that He is Coleman's and our God no matter how this turns out. We pray that God's glory will shine through these circumstances. We especially pray for Eric and Belinda. God grant them peace and comfort, strength, health, and safety. Rom 8:26-28

  10. Dearest Belinda,

So often we have no idea the impact that our lives have on others. I've often wondered if you had any idea how yours impacted me.

I cannot count the number of times that I have thought of you over the past 5 years while we've been in AZ. So many times I've told others about you...about your heart for the lost, and your desire to disciple believers...how so often you put others above yourself because you saw the great need for the Gospel to go forth in Spirit and in Truth.

Without knowing it, you have been such an example to me!

Thank you for your life, Belinda..for your faith and for you obedience to Christ.

I count it a great privilege to lift you all before the throne of grace, and will continue to do so.

My prayer will be that God will be so glorified through all that you, Eric, and Coleman do and say...that there will be German nurses and doctors in heaven one day because they saw Jesus Christ in you.

2 Cor 1:2-4 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed {be} the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

In the Love of Christ Jesus,
    Jesica Womack

  12. Our unceasing prayers are with you all and as I watch the prayer chains spread like wild fire I know God is holding Coleman close. I'm praying for a miracle and that you find rest and comfort that can only come through our heavenly Father. God often speaks to us through amazing "coincidences", this is the scripture reference from a devotional I read today..."Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2

Please know that we are praying for Coleman and your family, Coleman is never far from our thoughts. He means the world to us and we have come to love him as a son that he will soon be. He entered Jordan's life and turned on a light that has shined brightly since then. If ever two people were meant to be together it's Coleman and Jordan. I now know the true meaning of soul mates. There love endures all. Coleman please be strong and keep fighting, know that we love you.

  29. Coleman, my pied piper.

You are always the one who brings people together. Here you are, once again, bringing people together, some of whom haven't spoken in years, to pray for you. Be strong, dear boy, fight hard as I know you can. I am in constant conversation with the Lord on your behalf, asking for more strength, healing, comfort, peace... a miracle.

Belinda and Eric, may our Father grant you, my brother and sister, all the comfort and peace of the shelter of His arms as the hours pass. He still grants miracles. There are many praying for exactly that.

    In Faith, Hope, and Love,
    Jenifer
