2 AM Homburg, Germany

2 AM Homburg, Germany

The doctor just came to tell me that despite a downward trend throughout the afternoon, Coleman's oxygen levels have improved slightly based on blood readings just taken. Furthermore, they have been able to get some fluid out of his body - which helps the entire situation with his lungs. He was crystal clear that Coleman is still in very critical condition - but that he had slightly improved.

We thank God for this small victory and I beseech you once again to continue in prayer.

  1. Thank you Lord for this small improvement, we know that this is only because of Your intervention. We continue to pray that Coleman's oxygen levels will increase and that the fluid in his lungs will decrease.

You are worthy of all of our praise regardless of how You intervene in this situation. We humbly ask for You to grace us again.

  17. From Bryan Elmore: As it says in Matthew 17:20-21, "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

    ReplyDelete
  18. Coleman is like the mustard seed.
Though is is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree. The tree has roots that keep it sturdy and planted. Branches that reach in every direction for all to perch on.

Coleman has proven in his short life that his roots have been planted in Christ. His branches have reached all over the world for us to all perch on.

Coleman still has more branches to grow and alot more people need to perch. He is not done.

We praise you God for this victory!

  19. Lord, we all are praying for Coleman's healing, and I know you are going to do just that! I am confident that you hear the prayers of each one who has prayed, and we are so thankful for this slight improvment in his condition! Now we wait on his complete healing. You taught me to never tell You that need to hurry or that time is now, so I am prepared to wait for Your timing. Please guide each person as they care for Coleman, and be especially with those who know and love him. Lord, I don't know what else to ask, but that Your Will be Done, but do we need to tear a hole in the roof and lay Coleman at you feet so he can receive the healing touch of Your hands? We beseach you lord to bring him to his full and complete health. May we all follow you Word in I Thes. 5:17 and "pray without ceasing" until Coleman is healed by the touch of your hand.

  41. Eric and Belinda,

As I drove down the highway this morning and this afternoon, through the tears and heartache, I was refreshed by the words of the song I was listening to. I hope you find the same comfort and encouragement in the lyrics as I did.

Life is easy when you’re up on the mountain,
And you’ve got peace of mind like you’ve never known.

But when things change and you’re down in the valley
Don’t lose faith for you’re never alone.

For the God on the Mountain is still God in the Valley,
when things go wrong, he’ll make them right.

And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times,
The God of the day, is still God in the night.

We talk of faith when we’re up on the mountain
but talk comes easy when life’s at its’ best.

But in the valley of trials and temptations
that’s when faith is really put to the test.

For the God on the mountain is still God in the Valley,
When things go wrong, he’ll make them right.

And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night.

The God of the day is still God in the night.

    You're friend,

    Brett

  42. this old hymn keeps running in my head as I am thanking our dear Saviour for this gift of an improvement. still praying for more gifts of improvement for Coleman and strength and health for Eric and Belinda and the entire family and loved ones, and wisdom and guidance for the doctors. with lots of love!

Praise the Savior, ye who know Him!
Who can tell how much we owe Him?
Gladly let us render to Him
    All we are and have.

Jesus is the Name that charms us,
    He for conflict fits and arms us;
Nothing moves and nothing harms us
    While we trust in Him.

Trust in Him, ye saints, forever,
    He is faithful, changing never;
Neither force nor guile can sever
    Those He loves from Him.

Keep us, Lord, O keep us cleaving
    To Thyself, and still believing,
Till the hour of our receiving
    Promised joys with Thee.

Then we shall be where we would be,
Then we shall be what we should be,
Things that are not now, nor could be,
    Soon shall be our own.

  47. Coleman...

We're encouraged by this slight improvement, and will continue to pray and pray for even more good news.

You know, Coleman...you've brought so many people joy during your life time. I used to look forward to going to church because I knew you'd be lurking around some corner, waiting to pop out at me and yell "You're an URCHIN!" at me. :)

I still laugh when I think about that...you with your 2 adult teeth sticking out of that little head...yelling silly things at me and chasing me through the halls of the church.

You were all boy..and now I have one of my own, much like you. :)

We thank God for you, Coleman..and for your family.

    We love you guys!

This is the 1st verse I ever remember learning...it's brought me much comfort throughout my lifetime, and I pray it brings you comfort now.

  57. Belinda you know this Bible story but I'm sharing it for Eric. Its the one about Moses, where they were in a battle and as long as Moses held his hands up they would win and when he dropped them they would start to lose. Moses became weary so Arron and Hur put a rock under him to sit on and then each took one of his hands and helped him keep them raised, then Joshua had victory over the Amalek. I know you are weary so take this story and know that I place the rock of Jesus Christ under you to rest upon and your brothers and sisters in Christ lift up your arms together until victory is yours! And then Moses built an alter and called it the Lord is my Banner! Isaiah 35:3 Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. Say to those with palpitating heart, "Take courage, fear not. Behold your God will come with vengenance: The recompense of God will come, But He will save you." Eric you remind me of the centurion. You have this faith. The Lord hears you!

  60. Dear Lord,
We beseige You in the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ to spare Your child's life. Lord, we humbly thank You and praise You for the improvements in Your son's physical conditions. Lord, this child is not finished with the work that You have given him to do. You are the Almighty High God. We believe and have faith that You can and will perform a Miracle in Your Son, Coleman's body. We are praying for a complete and total healing of Coleman's body from the crown of his head to soles of his feet. You are a True God who cannot lie. You plainly say in Your Holy Word, that if we ask and believe that we shalt receive. We are asking and believing for a miracle healing this night for Coleman. Lord, we believe and have faith in You alone and know that You can do what we ask of You. Lord, may You be glorify in this situation. May the doctors, nurses, attendants, and everyone else who have become aware of this situation see first hand what a Mighty God that You are. What modern medicine cannot do, You can. Lord, we beg You move right now. Jesus, we ask that Coleman may awake in the morning on this earth, fully awake and alert to his surroundings. Please Lord fight the battle for Coleman against this sick and disease. When You walked on this earth, You healed countless people with all kinds of illnesses and sickness; You made the blind to see and the cripple to walk; You casted out devils and demons; You arised the dead, even one that had been in the tomb for 3 days. When You ascended back to heaven, You sent the Holy Spirit and told us that we would do even Mightier Works that these. Lord, the world has stopped believing in Miracles. Lord, too many are quick to tell us that the Days of Miracles are passed and that healings and miracles are not possible. Holy Spirit, prove these naysayers wrong. We beserge You, Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord and Master, to heal Coleman from the crown of head to the soles of his feet. You are a Mighty God. We believe that right this minute that Coleman's heart, and lungs are becoming stronger and healthy again. We believe that right this minute that the fluids have stopped rising and that his body is now able to throw off the fluids. We believe right now that his kidneys are beginning to work normally and without distress. We believe right now that the internal bleeding is stopping and will come to a complete stop before the sun rises or sets on another day. We believe for a complete healing of his liver and that it will be completely healed and strong again. We believe the blood cells, plasma, and every atom of the circulatory system and lymph system are being restored and healed to complete and total health. We believe that every cell, every tissue, every organ, every system of his body is being healed by the Divine Holy Spirit. Lord, please send Your Angels to encircle and encamp around Coleman until the complete and total healing of his body has occurred. We ask all of this in Jesus Christ's name. May You be Praised and Glorified. Amen

You are the Creator of the Universe, the Maker of Everything that exists, The One and Only...You created our bodies to do tremendous things and You are the Great Physician...Father we ask that Coleman, who You "fearfully and wonderfully made", would be touched by Your healing hand. Father, also that You would continue to touch all involved with Your love, grace, and mercy...In Christ's Precious and Holy Name...

  67. I read today about Daniel and how God was able to deliver him, and about Mary who discovered that Nothing is Impossible with God, and I know this same God stands guard over you and gives you life.

Coleman we are praying that you will continue to improve, and that our Great God will be glorified through your fight. We pray for your healing.

Eric and Belinda we are lifting you up as well, and we ask God to give you strength and courage and hope. We pray that your needs will be met before they are discovered.

    We love you all.

    Dear Jesus,
We cry out to you once again, this time with not only a plea for healing in lil bro's body, but also a cry of praise for a sign of improvement in coleman's health. Jesus give us more miracles and continue to pour out you mercy and kindness on Coleman and each one of us who hurt for him and yearn for his wellbeing. Jesus i pray with all my heart that you allow me to continue to "praise you through this storm" and to stay strong for my brother and for my entire family through this ordeal. Thank you so much Jesus for allowing Coleman to touch so many with his illness and thank you for giving us yet another precious day with Coleman. I pray Jesus for you to continue you healing power on Coleman's frail body, give him your peace and hold his hand for me. i thank you for sending your son to die on a cross and secure us a home in heaven where we will not see anymore suffering or pain when we must leave this earth. Jesus i pray that your will be done and i hope your will is to bring lil bro back to us and completely restore his body. it is in the holy name of Jesus Christ that we pray, Amen

LOVE YOU COLEMAN, YOU THE MAN LIL BRO!!

  70. Jesus said that he came to give us life and life abundantly. The word abundant is perissos in greek means... super in quality, abundant in quantity, by implication excessive, in the sense of going beyond. This is the life that Jesus gave coleman. I stand in the gap for him He is healed. In the bible there is the story of the roman soldier that had a faith that Jesus marveled at. He understood that as a commander he would say a word or a command and that command would be accomplished without doubt because he spoke it. That is the faith that i have when i speak that Coleman is healed.

With the roman soldier when he spoke it was good as done it just took a while for the command to travel the chain of command. And sometimes there was an enemy to fight through. In this case the enemy isn't his body but the thoughts that say that God's word isn't true.

The bible says that by his strips and affliction we were healed. Not are being healed but were healed. The word of God never comes back void. Coleman is healed. And that's the final answer. God gave us dominion over the earth in Genisis 1:26. And as a son of God I have the authority to speak God's word and have it happen. Jesus said in John 14:12 that to him that believes, even greater works will he do than I. That is truth. That is what we stand on. So we speak it and believe it. He's already out of that bed. It's just traveling through the chain of command.

  74. Father God we continue to thank you for this flicker of good news and ask that you will fan this into a blaze of light that will rise up so that all of the world may see.

I am in awe with what this site has become. The ticker shows that visitors from more than 1000 cities, in at least 11 countries (US, UK, Australia, Lebanon, Venezuela, Germany, Nicaragua, Mexico, Canada, The Netherlands, and Estonia) and 41 states have come hear. I read the comments and come away encouraged -- by the way TRISH of Whiteman AFB I would love to connect with you so post a comment on my other blog via the link on my name above.

Lord we live in a broken world, a world marred by sin, but we are not alone. You are with us and the body of believers unites to support Coleman, Eric, Belinda, Emil, Heather, Erica, Haley, Jordan, the aunts, the uncles, the grandparents, the cousins.

Father we ask that You continue to touch Coleman and heal him. Increase the oxygen levels in his blood, decrease the fluid in his lungs, heal the liver, heal the lungs, heal the kidneys, control the bleeding. We know that this is all within Your power and we humbly make known that this is the desire of our hearts.

  79. we're still here and we aren't leaving, we're still cheering Coleman on as he fights this fight. As Daniel's three friends were in the firey furnace, the guards noticed that there was a 4th person in the midst of them. I know there is a 4th person there with you, watching over you, keeping the flames from overcoming you...the best fire protection there could ever be.

  85. Coleman- for those reading your blog who don't know your Lord and Savior, we offer these verses in your stead:

The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)

    Good works cannot save you.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do:
    Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"(Romans 3:23)

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)

"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)

Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."(Romans 10:10)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
